Commercial transparency
How TORII will distinguish independent editorial work from advertising, affiliate links, sponsorship and supplied products.
Current status
TORII does not currently display paid advertising, use affiliate links, publish sponsored articles or accept paid placement. Existing destination, transport, museum and product links are provided as editorial references unless a page states otherwise.
If advertising is introduced
Advertising will be visually distinguishable from editorial content and labeled in a way readers can understand. TORII will not ask readers to click advertisements, disguise ads as navigation or place ads where they interfere with reading and site use.
Third-party advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies to select, measure and limit advertising. Any introduction of those services will also be reflected in the Privacy Policy and, where required, an appropriate consent mechanism.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link may allow TORII to receive a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase or booking. The reader’s price is normally set by the provider, not TORII. A commission does not make a service suitable for every traveler, and it does not replace checking cancellation terms, eligibility, availability or the provider’s current conditions.
- Pages containing affiliate links will carry a clear disclosure near the relevant recommendation.
- Links will not be described as independent references when a commission relationship exists.
- Commission rate alone will not determine inclusion or ranking.
- TORII will not claim to have used, visited or tested a service when that did not occur.
Sponsored work and supplied products
Paid collaboration, hosted travel, samples and supplied products must be disclosed on the page. A partner may check factual details about its own operation, but may not purchase an undisclosed positive conclusion. Sponsored material will not be presented as a neutral editorial review.
Travel and purchase decisions
Prices, schedules, inventory, insurance coverage, entry conditions and cancellation policies can change after publication. Readers should review the provider’s latest terms before paying. TORII is an editorial publisher and is not the seller, travel agent, insurer or payment processor unless a future page explicitly states otherwise.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships do not change the standards used for factual claims, corrections or source selection. Our working rules are described in the Editorial Standards.
